Andrew Carr

Andrew Carr is completing a PhD on Australian foreign policy from 1983-2010 in Southeast Asia; examining its promotion of norms relating to non-proliferation, irregular migration and trade liberalisation.

He has published on the foreign policy of the Rudd Government, and his research interests include Australian foreign policy, international relations, non-proliferation and the history of ideas.

Andrew has a Bachelor of Journalism, first class Honours and the WJ Weeden Medal from the University of Canberra. He has lectured and convened courses in international politics, and tutored on foreign policy, political theory, development and government-business relations.
