Welcome to new readers

It was a busy weekend for The Interpreter, yet we never lifted a finger — the spike in incoming traffic was all on account of material we posted on Friday.

Readers flocked to Jim Molan's personal reflections on GEN Stanley McChrystal, thanks to a recommendation from Andrew Sullivan's Daily Dish (currently the 14th biggest blog in the world, according to Technorati). RealClearWorld recommended our Friday Funny to its readers, and the New York Times carried a Reuters piece about Julia Gillard's foreign policy which excerpted heavily from The Interpreter.

To those readers who stuck around for a longer look, we hope you like what you see. Don't forget to subscribe to the Email Digest for regular updates from The Interpreter.

Interpreting the Aid Review

This is the archive of a Lowy Institute blog which ran from January to April of 2011. It was published to debate the Gillard Government's independent aid review, which was then in its research and consultation phase. We offer this archive as a service to researchers and the general public.
